proudly opened our first El Pollo Loco in 2000.
Our first experience with El Pollo Loco was in Mexico while
attending the World Cup in 1986. I thought the product was
great. Lots of appetite appeal and even better flavor.
We knew this product would be very popular with customers
here in the Rio Grande Valley. We opened our first El Pollo
Loco in 2000 and have been so impressed with our results.
El Pollo Loco has a kind of legendary reputation across the
U.S. from those that have ever seen it in Mexico. Once customers

flavor of the product. It's a flavor profile that can never
be matched in a fried product. Even a broiled product couldn't

on El Pollo Loco and opened in 1993. It's nice to know I am
serving the public a great tasting product that is good for you.
I know the phrase "healthy" isn't always a big driver
for sales, but El Pollo Loco is great tasting chicken that
just happens to be healtier than other fast food. And great tasting does drive sales.
