Fundamental to El Pollo Loco's mission is an underlying pledge
to give back to the communities we serve. We do this through
El Pollo Loco Charities, a non-profit 501(c) charity created
by the employees of El Pollo Loco to positively impact people
in the neighborhoods and communities served by our restaurants.
El Pollo Loco Charities primarily serve organizations, like
After-School All-Stars, that are dedicated to the health, education
and well being of children in our local communities.
Founded by Governor Schwarzenegger in 2001, After-School All-Stars
Adventures is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated
to providing local youth with positive academic, recreational
and cultural opportunities. The program aims to reduce the influence
of gangs, drugs and alcohol on middle school students and inspire
learning and respect.
We believe that giving back to those we serve strengthens our
neighborhoods and communities. You can join us in this important
effort by contributing to the canisters in our restaurants.
